Release notes and product updates for Tonic Clef, newest first.

  1. Tonic Clef 1.24 — Non-Diatonics

    • New Library tool beside Diatonics: secondary dominants, substitute dominants (subV), and modal interchange on the staff.
    • Pick a home key, then browse each family — modal interchange lets you choose a degree (I–VII) to see borrowed chords with Roman analysis and source scale.
    • English control labels use title case (With Accidentals, Easy Mode, and similar).
    • The footer legal link is shorter: Legal (EN) / 特定商取引法 (JA). The page is at /legal.
    • Sight Reading Bootcamp, Ear Trainer, and Explorers share the same left-column width.
    • The site version is now 1.24 (header label).
  2. Dictionary search and related links

    • Search matches more alternate spellings and headwords.
    • Related chord terms open in Chord Explorer when that is the right place to explore them.
  3. Clearer language switcher

    • A small globe sits beside EN / JA in the header so the language control is easier to spot.
  4. Mobile footer stays reachable

    • On phones, legal links sit at the end of the page scroll instead of competing with sticky chrome.
    • Lower content clears the collapsed Coach handle so nothing is hidden underneath.
  5. Playback button order

    • Transport controls across tools now read Stop · Play · Pause (with Loop first when available).
  6. TC Audio Deck 3-band EQ

    • Low / mid / high sliders (±12 dB) so a melody is easier to hear without stem splitting.
    • EQ stays with your other TC Audio Deck settings on this device when you are signed in.
  7. TC Audio Deck saves for signed-in Free users

    • Markers, loop, speed, key, and recent files on this device now persist for Free and Pro accounts.
    • Guests still keep work for the session only — sign up free to restore it next time.
  8. Sign-up and plans are separate pages

    • Free registration is now a focused Google sign-up at /signup.
    • Free vs Pro comparison and Pro upgrade live at /pricing.
